Record a clean 8–15 second voice sample, preview it, save it under a name, and create WAV or MP3 messages using that personal voice.
MessageZilla can use a short recording of your voice to create new spoken messages. Follow these steps carefully for the clearest and most natural results.
Use a quiet room with as little background noise as possible. Turn off televisions, music, fans, radios, and anything else that may be heard by the microphone.
Enter a clear name such as Scott-Voice, Presentation Voice, or Business Voice. Each saved voice should have a different name so it is easy to recognize later.
Press Start Recording and speak naturally for approximately 8 to 15 seconds. Use a steady pace and normal speaking volume. Stay the same distance from the microphone throughout the recording.
Press Stop Recording when finished. Listen to the entire recording before saving it. Make sure your speech is understandable and that there is no loud background noise, echo, clipping, or music.
Do not save a recording that sounds muffled, distant, distorted, interrupted, or unclear. Simply record another sample until the preview sounds clean.
Confirm that the recording is your own voice or that you have permission to use it. Then press Save Personal Voice. Wait for the confirmation message before leaving the page.
Select your saved voice, type or paste the message you want spoken, and choose MP3 or WAV. Press the generation button and wait until the finished audio player appears.
Listen to the completed message. Add commas, periods, and paragraph breaks to improve pacing. Rewrite unusual names or difficult words phonetically when their pronunciation is wrong.
Use MP3 for convenient sharing and smaller files. Use WAV when you need uncompressed audio for telephone systems, video editing, presentations, or professional audio equipment.
